Russ and his crew have had the honour of being chosen to do the auctioneering in the past for Brookfield Properties annual charity auction in Calgary, Alberta for the 'Make a Wish' foundation of Canada. This fundraiser helps raise thousands of dollars each year for children who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness.

Russ was also the auctioneer for 'Laughing for Cancer' charity auction. Laughing for Cancer is an annual benifit for the Alberta Cancer Foundation in aid of Edmonton's Cross Cancer Institute. Started in 2002, the Laughing for Cancer benifit raised one Million Dollars for the ACF through a live, and often lively auction and comedy show.
