Russ and his crew have had the honour of being chosen to do the auctioneering for Brookfield Properties annual charity auction in Calgary, Alberta for the 'Make a Wish' foundation of Canada. This fundraiser helps raise thousands of dollars each year for children who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness.

Russ is also the auctioneer for 'Laughing for Cancer' charity auction. Laughing for Cancer is an annual benifit for the Alberta Cancer Foundation in aid of Edmonton's Cross Cancer Institute. Since 2002 Laughing for Cancer has raised over $290,000 for the ACF through a live, and often lively auction and comedy show.
